Srushti is preparing to take the UPSC test in her third year of studying engineering. After her graduation, she questioned whether she could be happy in the engineering role. She realized later the dream job she wanted was within the civil service, and she decided to pursue this. Parents insisted that she study for civils and make a career serving the public. She focused her energy on becoming a IAS officer. What is required to become an IAS officer is greater. Her plan was to complete the engineering subjects and then prepare for UPSC while also studying various subjects. This exam preparation was done daily. She completed her engineering tests in only one-and-a-half months and stayed away from social activities. She believes that focusing is the most important factor to succeed in this government exam and become a civil servant. She was very focused on passing this test, and she put in a good number of efforts. In order to stay up-to-date on current affairs she would regularly go through papers. Rajya Sabha TV, online resources and other study tools helped her. IAS Srushti Deskmukh IAS Srushti Deskmukh wrote a book that was called, The Answer Writing Manual. The book is available at all libraries of the Indian states. The book is excellent to IAS students who have been preparing rigorously to take the IAS test.
