Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada by her character as Bo. Silk is an actor from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop held in Los Angeles, in 2007. Following their engagement in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. Following her conversion to Judaism the couple renewed their wedding vows at a Jewish ceremony on 10 April 2011, in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May of 2013, and her son was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Her son Levi Aaron was born on May 13, 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won a Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the finale of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on January 6, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 to announce that she's ready to go back to her work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production for the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to a large online audience through social networks.
